Olympic Weightlifting Intensive


Here’s your chance to put some polish on your Olympic lifts during our 8-Week Course on the Snatch and Clean & Jerk!

Olympic Weightlifting is acknowledged by athletes far and wide as a potent and effective tool in training for speed and power. Unfortunately many athletes and trainers shy away from using the lifts due to the complexity of the movements, and many athletes never reach their full potential in these lifts due to faulty mechanics.

Beginning Tuesday, May 8th, participants will attend a total of 24 90-minute classes with USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance Coach Ryan Brown drilling these lifts from every imaginable angle. Athletes will learn the movements in detail, incorporate drills for each lift, and analyze their technique on video to help get a good sense of what’s going right, what’s going wrong and how their mechanics can be improved to maximize the loads lifted.  Sessions will include a warm-up, mobility work, strength work and end with a brief conditioning session.

There are no minimum requirements or prerequisites to participate in this course.  Athletes of all experience levels are welcome. This class will be capped at just 8 participants to maximize personal attention and time under the bar.  Each athlete’s training program will be individualized according to their strengths and weaknesses.

Class Schedule
Tues/Thurs 6pm to 7:30pm and Sat 12pm to 1:30pm

Price: $400 for all 24 sessions (current CFD athletes will not have to pay their monthly membership fee while attending)
